2018 Toyota Camry vs Honda Accord

There has been a lot of buzz around the 2018 Toyota Camry and the Honda Accord, as both vehicles have been completely redesigned for the upcoming year. We put these two sedans to the test to show you which is the best option. Keep reading to find out which vehicle came out on top.

Fuel Efficiency

Fuel Efficiency

We know our customers in Fairfax and beyond are always looking for ways to save, and the Toyota Camry will help with that. The Camry gets an impressive 41 MPG on the highway, compared to the Honda Accord’s 38 MPG. That can really add up whether you’re doing daily errands are heading out on a road trip. If you want to spend less at the pump and decrease your visits to the gas station, go with the Toyota Camry.

Add-On Features

Add-On Features

Both of these sedans come with great features like rearview cameras, push button start, and other conveniences. However, there are some areas in which the Accord lacks. The optional navigation system on the base trim of the Camry is not available on the Accord’s base trim. The Camry also has an available Smart Key System to make vehicle entrances and exits more convenient, which is unavailable on the Accord.

Safety

The 2018 Toyota Camry was a Top Safety Pick+ last year, and we expect the same for 2018. It received good ratings across the board from the IIHS including a superior rating for Front Crash Prevention. The Accord hasn’t been rated yet and has less standard safety features than the Camry. Judging by the multitude of standard safety features you get with the Camry as part of Toyata Safety Sense™, you can be sure that Toyota is dedicated to keeping you secure on all roads ahead.

As you can see, the Toyota Camry is simply the better option when up against the Honda Accord. To take a test drive, visit our dealership in Fairfax today! You can also give us a call at 703-359-1010.
